How do I set this forum so that the rank of users is displayed automatically?

I am getting really pissed off trying to sort it arghhhhhh!

You may well already have looked at this.

I'm going to have to install the software myself at some point to see if I can be any more help.

From what I gather, you have to set up a list of ranks yourself, some of which can be automated with a post count, others need to be assigned manually by a site administrator. Rank and permissions are separate.

I did look at that, hence the geek forum suddenly appearing.

Thanks Mark, but I have already set all this up. Your ranking is based on the number of posts made, barring a couple of special ranks, such as Miss Hybrids own Post Whore.
