I'm having trouble loading a picture. If someone else wants to put up a movie, feel free.

And another clue.
Although I recognise the actor on the left in the first pic, I have no idea of his name. But as the second pic is of Warren Oats (I hope it is!) that might make a search a little easier

It does. The actor on the left is Robert Webber and the film is "Bring me the head of Alfredo Garcia"

Correct

The other actor is Gig Young who won a Best Supporting Actor Oscar for his role as the MC in "They Shoot Horses Don't They?" and came to a very bad end in real life.

That was really tricky! Good thing there is Charlton Heston in it, or I would be lost

Make Room! Make Room! by Harry Harrison

That is interesting, because I am a huge fan of his Stainless Steel Rat cyclus.

Correct. The film, of course, is Soylent Green. I prefer the book title myself.

I am also a fan of the Stainless Steel Rat books.

Will there be a movie? Maybe even a series? After what makes it on screen, that couldd be no risk. It's all there, like Austin Powers, just WAY larger and with an edge.
