Other than blue, which other colours are mentioned in the Elvis song 'Blue Christmas'?

Lyrics.......

With every Christmas card I write
May your days be merry and bright

White for the lyrics maybe?

White is one of the colours in the Elvis song - there are two more.....

Yesterday's answer - Red, Green and White. "Decorations of red on a green Christmas tree" and "You'll be doin' all right with your Christmas of White".

And today's question:

Which popular poem did Clement Clark Moore write for his six children in 1822?

Lyrics.......

They said there'll be snow at Christmas
They said there'll be peace on Earth
But instead, it just kept on raining
A veil of tears for the Virgin birth

The poem is "Twas The Night Before Christmas" though "research" says the actual title is "A Visit From St. Nicholas".

I suspect the only reason I knew this is from the quiz this time last year

The top tune is:

Paul

Paul has the perfect answer whilst Mr L, against type, scores a dud.

The poem is indeed 'A Visit from St Nicholas' which opens with the lines:

"'Twas the night before Christmas, when all thro' the house
Not a creature was stirring, not even a mouse;"

Greg Lake's classic I Believe in Father Christmas is indeed the top tune for today

More Christmas fun with a question that I'm sure Ricky will know the answer to....
