Since I'm keeping track, progress would need to be posted publicly.

Unless someone would like to create a new thread for stats, this thread should be fine.

Initial stats are needed to compare results with, daily workout routine, and then a weekly report on your progress.

And then we'll see how everyone has done in 60 days. :)

Yes, I was 12 stone last year, the cycling eased right off but the appetite stayed as healthy as ever. :thud:

Ok. I've been stuck on 236 lbs for months, despite going to the gym 5x per week. Naturally this is my starting weight for this program.

For information sake, my regimen is as follows...

M/W/F = 1hr per day with a personal trainer; warmup, dynamic stretching, 20-30 minutes mix of freeweights and machines (4 exercises with 3 sets of 12 apiece, to near failure; M=arms, W=legs, F=chest), as well as pushups, planks, crunches, etc. This is all followed by 15mins of cardio on the treadmill (intervals of walking and running). Tu/Th are 1hr circuit training on various machines and cardio equipment.

My goal hasn't been straight out weight loss, as I am deliberately putting on muscle while trying to lose fat. Changing body composition is a much higher priority than mere weight or BMI (I am 5' 7", and naturally a stocky body type). The rest is increased stamina and endurance.

My next step is nutrition coaching to match the fitness training. And a couple personal goals are; run a mile without walking, and sometime this summer I intend to embark on the 100 pushup challenge (current personal best is 32).
