She's a Beauty originally by The Tubes
But I don't know if they were the best known artists or not.

That is correct! And you nailed the artist also. I'm trying to come up with a word to describe the artist so that I get the answer I am driving for. I left it just "artist" originally.....but then I got answers that were all over the place sometimes. Then I went with "original" then I got it pointed out sometimes that there was actually an earlier recording. Soooooo, basically I am looking for the best know if not original artist....Ha ha ha!

Anyway, you were correct as usual, and you have maintained your crown for yet another day with a clean sweep! Long live the King!!! Great job!

She's been married seven times before"

Title and best known artist (in my sole opinion...ha ha ha!) please!

The only Herman's Hermits song I know and love is "No Milk Today" written by boy genius - at the time :D - Graham Gouldman, later of 10CC.

Paul

P.s. Peter Noone's version of Bowie's "Oh You Pretty Things" ain't bad either

Vern, yes it is. But Paul answered the question anyway, because Henry the VIII was sung by Herman's Hermits

Correct as usual who???!!! Great job! And still the King with another clean sweep....who else but who???!!! Of course it was no coincidence that I chose this song today! Ha ha ha! If it comes to pass, it looks like you might just be the last King! However, like I said elsewhere, I wouldn't hold my breath on the whole Rapture thing. Scary thing though is the fact that eventually someone has to get it (the end of the world that is) right....statistically speaking anyway....but me thinks it shalt not be in out lifetimes anyway! Ha ha ha!

Fear not, because of the time difference, I rang one of my friends in Australia, he says the whole Rapture thing isn't happening today

You mean that whack job in California got it wrong AGAIN!?!?!

Note: For those who are not aware....he guaranteed....in very much the same manner...that the Rapture was going to take place in 1984.

Walter Egan.....Billy Squire....who are these people.......

I was quite a Tubes fan in my youth  but their first two albums only, I was completely unaware of their later AOR/mainstream fall from grace

It'll be REO Speedwagon or Journey next :2Thumbs:

Paul
