John D. Rockefeller and Cleveland, Ohio are indeed the answers to yesterday's question!

Stay tuned tomorrow for the next question! Wednesday's topic is: Cleveland, Ohio!

Note: Wednesday's question will be the last one until after Easter, as I will be out of town until then & I decided to basically "unplug" until then.

Here is your final question until after Easter...Your question for Wednesday is:

What legendary law man was once the Director for Public Safety (essentially Police AND Fire Chief) for Cleveland, Ohio?

Twas Mr Untouchable himself, Eliot Ness.

His life and times in Cleveland are at least as interesting as and definitely more "tragic" than his better known Chicago time.

Eliot Ness is absolutely correct! His career as Cleveland's Public Safety Director was generally successful...BUT, there were issues with his drinking, a car accident he was involved in....AND a series of grizzly murders that went "unsolved" during his tenure. Now, from what I know of that case, I believe the serial killer was someone from a well to do family and had medical/surgical training...and that is why he was never arrested, tried, and convicted. I read somewhere where Ness even later stated that the crime "was solved"! Even today, money can get you off...and back then it was especially the case. Later, Ness unsuccessfully ran for Mayor of Cleveland before returning to the private sector right before he died of a heart attsck at 54.

Stay tuned for the next question! Monday's topic: "The Untouchables"!

That doesn't bode well then, I did not remember there was a television series.

Where Robert Stack made his name a couple of decades before "Airplane" and a Quinn Martin production :D

I'd forgotten the theme music was another Nelson Riddle classic.

Well well well! My original question was going to be: What actor portrayed Eliot Ness on "The Untouchables" television series! Since that answer is OBVIOUSLY Robert Stack I will ask the following question instead:

What company produced "The Untouchables" television series & which two iconic television people were behind the company? Bonus points for telling me what company they ended up selling their production company to!

That is your question for Saturday! Have a Happy Easter everyone!

According to the youtube clip above, it would be Desilu productions, which I would imagine is I Love Lucy stars Desi Arnaz and Lucille Ball

Absolutely correct as usual Mr. Lars! Following their divorce, Lucy bought Desi out...and then she sold out to Paramount Pictures!

Since it's Easter...I'll give an easy one for today:

What sci-fi classic was produced by Desilu Productions?

Space: the final frontier.
These are the voyages of the starship Enterprise.
Its five-year mission: to explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilizations, to boldly go where no man has gone before

Okay, since it is fairly obvious that Larss was saying that it was "Star Trek," here is your next question:

In the original pilot episode for "Star Trek," what was the name of the original captain of the USS Enterprise, and what actor portrayed him?

Captain Christopher Pike was played by Jeffrey Hunter.
Pike reappears in a couple of episodes (not played by Hunter), is mentioned a few times. He also appears in the new Star Trek movie.

Come on.....it's not who??? Ha ha ha!

Not feeling so good....so I might not be around today....soooo, good luck & it might not be until Thursday until the answer and next question gets posted by me.

It'll be something like Count Dracula, I would guess.

I found contradictory evidence regarding my original question...soooo, in the interest of fairness....I'm throwing that one out and giving a new Jesus question.

Here is your new question:

According to the Bible, what was the inscription above Jesus on the cross when he was crucified?

Good luck! Easier an timelier this time!

Depending on the book of the bible you are looking at, it varies.
Matthew: This is Jesus The King of the Jews
Mark: The King of the Jews
Luke: This is the King of the Jews
John: Jesus of Nazareth The King of the Jews
