Butt "queue" is pronounced correctly "kö", not "kju" :fp:
In English, Queue, Cue and Q are all pronounced the same way. /kju/
I know, butt it's wrong!!! French word has to be pronounced FRENCH and not WRONG!
I love it when you too start arguing about words and their use. :phone2: :shemademe: :imok:
If you pronounce Queue, Cue and Q (and also "cu" in "cute") all the same way, why do you write them so different? :deutschland:

Because English has developed as a language over the past 1500 years and has borrowed and stolen words and pronunciations from many sources. Old English was originally a germanic language from Friesland. The development of the language in the early years took many words from the Vikings, Latin, French (when they conquered) England in the 11th century. We continue to take words from many sources and the sound and spellings do not always make sense.

Very good. I think you'll find that 12 isn't quite what was being looked for.
