In which country, an archipelago of 6,852 islands, is it considered inappropriate to send red Christmas cards?

Lyrics.......

City sidewalks, busy sidewalks
Dressed in holiday style
In the air
There's a feeling
Of Christmas
Children laughing
People passing
Meeting smile after smile
And on ev'ry street corner you'll hear
Is it Shagging Stephens? :santadeer:
  Clue: Older than SS

Well done RickY - the correct answer is indeed Japan - the reason that it is inappropriate to send red Christmas cards is because funeral notices are customarily printed in red in Japan.

Does anyone know the old Christmas Classic?

What is the surname of the family in the 1989 film 'National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation'?

Lyrics......

In these frozen and silent nights
Sometimes in a dream you appear
Outside under the purple sky
Diamonds in the snow sparkle
Our hearts were singing
It felt like christmastime

In which country is St Nick called Sinterklaas?

Lyrics.....

Over the ground lies a mantle of white,
A heaven of diamonds shine down through the night
Two hearts are thrillin', in spite of the chill in
The weather

Which English leader prohibited the singing of Christmas songs?

Lyrics.....another old classic

When we finally kiss goodnight
How I'll hate going out in the storm!
But if you'll really hold me tight
All the way home I'll be warm
