Unless it works on the latest edition of android you can't download photos from the site direct to a tablet, I tried it before and it seems to be the same as IOS devices, you can look at pics and videos (stream) but you can't download. Hope that helps Miss.

Hmm, I never tried that, I imagine you can copy them the same as you can with any picture, but I would have thought downloading a file of images would be the same unless it was specifically set up to work with Android/iOS devices.

Help...Is it possible to do some comprehensive testing to see how the site works with mobiles, tablets and ipad type thingies.
I am interested in particularly in...
Movie download and streaming
Pics downloading and zip downloads
On both the main site and the mobile one.

I'll have a go again over the weekend and write down the results, I know you can stream on a tablet or iPhone but I haven't tried downloading from the mobile version yet.

Here we go
It's a bit long winded, here's all the test results and ways to download on mobile/tablet devices.
iPhone; Just using Safari all the streaming MP4 options work, none of the WMV options streamed.
All the MP4 options play the video but do not download.
Only the iPod WMV download version plays but does not download.
Photos display but do not download.
iPhone Mobile Site MP4 video plays but does not download.
Photos display but do not download.
(Also tried with Google Chrome, same results)
iPad; Same results as iPhone.
To download videos and photos to iPhone/iPad you need to download an app such as Goodplayer (Apple App Store £1.99) that will play and download numerous formats of videos.
Two main options 1. Select download WMV from the options, the apple busy light will spin and you will then get an option to open in Goodplayer, select "open" and the video will play and be saved in Goodplayer.
2. Open the site in the Goodplayer browser and when you select download either WMV or MP4 you immediately get the option to download file. With this option you can download MP4 and export to iMovie.
Downloading photos works in much the same way, download with Goodplayer, open zip file and then view pics in iPhoto. (No thumbnail views in Goodplayer)
Android Phone Firefox browser; As standard all WMV videos download but did not play. (This May be peculiar to Sony movies as it works on Samsung tablet and videos do play when opened with alternative App)
MP4 iPod option plays but will not download, MP4 480 and 720 for some reason sound but no picture.
Streaming MP4 and WMV would not play
Photos download to internal storage, browse using Officesuite app and then open to view.
Mobile site Photos download, same as above.
Video, MP4 plays but does not download.
To view the downloaded WMV videos you need to have a video app such as Android video Player installed, open the App and you can watch all the downloaded WMV files.
Android tablet using Firefox browser;
All WMV files download and play. iPod MP4 is the only MP4 that will play.
Streaming MP4 and WMV would not play.
Photos download to internal storage, open with Officesuite.
Mobile site
Photos download to internal storage and MP4 video plays but does not download.
There is a Goodplayer App available for Android but unfortunately was not compatible with the Samsung tablet but there are alternative apps that do the same type job.
So in short you can view and download videos and photos on iOS and Android devices with the correct Apps installed, operation with Android may be peculiar to manufacturers installed apps.
