After a long and laborious day of meetings in London I managed to summon up enough energy to do 36mins on the turbo trainer in the garage this evening :bike2: :bike2:
Just to make sure we are talking about the same thing, that is a stationary bike?

I have just come back from a business trip to the states and a lot of partying in NYC. I'm not posting my start weight today but I am joining the get fit campaign.

I simply must fit into my Lycra once more!!

Miss Hybrid where did you get that wonderful thing backed leotard?

That is a slow stroke rate. :bed: No worries, I could go get a top up between thrusts...-- :stiffy: :mememe:

I do think of you while setting my stroke rate...-- :drm:

And if you adjust for distance and time I'm surprised I don't get friction burns. :bed: :shlick: :wank:

Right, full stats as at this morning.
Height - 6' (182cm)
Weight - 209 lbs (14st 13lb or 95Kg) - (Good start - lost 3lbs already!)
Biceps - 12" (30.5cm)
Thighs - 21.5" (48cm)
Waist - 38" (96.5cm)
Hips - 39" (99cm)

Having found a proper tape measure, I need to revise some of these stats.

Biceps - 13"
Hips - 41"
Chest - 42"
Is this the 10th day uoting tape measure? :? :shark: :fishclean: :fishfry:

A few notes about how I am keeping up with the stats.

Since most of your weights came in pounds or stones and pounds, and I don't understand stones, I converted them all to pounds.

Similarly the measurements came in inches and centimeters. Most came in inches so that is what I'm using.

If you'd like, when reporting results, I can convert them back.

But for stat keeping's sake, its a lot easier using only one unit of measurement.

Okay back to :fit: :weights: :bike1: :gymbike: :workout: :boxer:

or if you're lucky enough :bed: :69: :dog: for your exercise :D

Pounds and Inches should be fine.
A stone is 14lbs. Why? Blind :deer2: :dunno:

To convert inches to centimetres, multiply by 2.54 (or 2,54 if you are on the continent) and to convert Pounds to kilograms, divide by 2.2 (or 2,2 if you will).

But 1 pound is 0,5 kg exactly here in Germany. That looks as if it uuil be easy to cheat :fishclean:

Sounds like fun, Miss H. I could use some motivation; I'm a bit down because I can't test for black belt because of herniated disks at L4/L5 and L5/S1. I start physical therapy tomorrow, so the timing is good.

My usual routine is martial arts (did you ever figure out how to add that?) - American Kenpo, 1 to 2 hours of class plus an hour of sparring, 3 nights a week.

I'll get some measurements and weight in here tomorrow morning.

Looking forward to continued motivation...

Well done Crom, delighted to see you here and taking a tart. :wiggle:

I expect some of your military dedication. Oh and pound me in inches, or feet. So basically you need a vertebra fusion operation or a brush handle up the arse...-- :shark: :cyclist: :rider: :ill: :getwell: :fit: :somers: :workout: :boxer:

20 KG seated shoulder press
4kg side and front shoulder raises 3 sets 10 reps each
25 miles just over 2 hours on the MTB, garmin said 5oo cal but I think I need to look at the settings.

Maybe the easiest way to add martial arts would be to consider the whole session as a cardio workout?
