It is correctly named, as Autumn just the year that is in question.

I think Felix tried to be too clever with it.

I will do the next one. He spent days on it. I let him do the writing design , everything.

I may just just send an email with a link to a web page in future.

He was so convinced it would all work out for him I felt a little sympathy for him, which is very unusual for me.

That reminds me I better go and lower him.

:hb: :whip: :flog: :spank: :ws:

Any thoughts?

I think that the problem with the mailed newsletter is the hotlinking of the images.
I find that I can copy the url of the images and paste into a new web page for display, but if I right click and open in new tab, I get redirected to http://www.nakedhosting.com/error/403.html

Mister L

Could you explain to me what the difference is between paste into a new page and right click open in a new tab? I thought they would both do the same thing?

I have a custom 403 error page in the root folder, do I need to add one in misshybridforum.com which is on the same dedicated server.

Alternatively should I get a huge dildo and shove it up my arse and get people in, who know what they are doing, to sort the IT?

I don't know why there is a difference, but it seems that opening in a new tab still keeps the source site (in my case that would be Talk Talk's webmail), but copying the address and pasting it on a new tab means that the system will see it as being typed in fresh and not linked from another site.
You probably need to allow the newsletter folder(s) to be hotlinked to from outside misshybrid.com
Unfortunately, my expertise is not in web software, so I can only make educated guesses as to what may need to be done.

Dear :wise:

That makes sense even to me!

You should have got my own 403 error page so I am pleased you found it. I will get that sorted too.

Thank you x

:fp: :flog: get up :flog: get up you lazy bastard

Receiving the whole news letter in an e-mail is great, but sending a hyperlink to a web page is undoubtedly much easier and quicker, personally I really wouldn't mind but I'm used to sharing all my documents and seeing others this way.
You could always use some sort of newsletter banner with the link to make it look at a bit more professional.

So in answer to your question, hyperlinks are fine with me.
